Good Knight: Princess Rescue

Good Knight: Princess Rescue is an adventure game in which you move through a colorful, cute environment to rescue a princess. She has been locked in a castle by funny-looking 3D monsters, and the game's core activity is finding the keys and defeating the monsters that stand in your way.

Goal and progression

To complete the rescue, you need to find 8 keys. Keys are located by exploring the environment, and the game's tips suggest checking every corner, since hidden keys and surprises may be tucked away in places that are easy to miss.

Melee weapons

The game offers two melee weapons, rocks and a sword. The suggested approach is to try both against different monsters to see which works better in each encounter. Power-ups are also mentioned as items that can strengthen your abilities and make monsters easier to defeat.

Environment, controls and tone

The 3D world is described as cute and whimsical, with quirky monsters and a storyline meant to keep the adventure entertaining. The game is presented as kid-friendly and as containing no real violence. Its controls are described as smooth and responsive, which the developer presents as making navigation easier.

Strategy

The game's tips also encourage planning your moves and thinking through your approach to challenging levels, which fits its puzzle-like emphasis on exploration and choosing the right weapon.
