IseeU

IseeU is a family location and device-finding app for checking shared locations, contacting group members, and coordinating meetups. Its map displays ongoing location updates, and users can call or message contacts or open navigation from the app.

Location sharing and alerts

Geofences can be set up to trigger alerts for arrivals and departures, with location-based reminders also available for errands. Different sounds or ringtones can be assigned to geofences to help distinguish which location prompted an alert. Custom map icons for family members, vehicles, or public transport provide additional visual labels.

Finding a device and staying in touch

Device-finding tools show a phone’s last-seen time and battery level. Calling, in-app messaging, and a one-tap option to open navigation bring communication and meetup planning into the same app.

Sharing requirements and update limits

People who are to be monitored must join the group and enable location sharing. Timely location updates depend on the device’s battery and its cellular or Wi-Fi connection, so update accuracy may vary with those conditions.
